PRE-TREATMENT GUIDELINES

Avoid sun exposure for four weeks before the treatment. Use zinc oxide sunscreen with at least SPF 30 if you need to be outside.
Discuss discontinuation of anticoagulation medications with your doctor ten days before treatment.
Stop using any irritating skin products two to three days before the treatment. This includes retinoids, chemical exfoliants, and bleaching products.
If you have a history of cold sores, tell your provider so they can prescribe medication to prevent an outbreak.
Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of water and moisturize your skin in the morning and evening for seven days before the treatment.
Arrive with clean skin, free of any lotions, makeup, or perfumes.

POST-TREATMENT GUIDELINES

Your skin might feel warm, like a sunburn, for about an hour.
Keep your skin moisturized and avoid letting it dry out.
Sleep with a clean pillowcase and keep your head slightly elevated.
Avoid sun exposure, intense exercise, and sweating.
Do not touch or clean the treated area for 24 hours.
Your skin might feel rough for three to four days.
You can apply mineral makeup after 24-48 hours.
Use a cool misting spray if needed for comfort.
Coolpeel® treatments can be repeated monthly to achieve your desired results.
